DA Hike Latest News: There has been a debate for a long time about increasing the dearness allowance of central employees. Now the news is coming regarding DA that the central government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of employees and workers. The central government may increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) as early as 2024.


It is estimated that this increase will reach 50% of the limit for government employees. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, general secretary of the All India Railwaymen's Federation, a 50 per cent increase in DA is expected.


 


There has been talk of increasing the dearness allowance for the past one year but now the government has finally approved the increase in DA and DR for both central government employees and pensioners. If the dearness allowance goes up, it can go up to 50%.




The exact figure of how much the dearness allowance will increase will be announced later. It is being said that the inflation allowance index will increase by 7.39%. The final rate of Dearness Allowance will be decided by the Ministry.

According to some news reports, the hike in dearness allowance of central employees by 4 percent is believed to be confirmed. Dearness allowance can be increased to 46 percent. So far dearness allowance is being given to central employees at the rate of 42 percent. The AICPI-IW numbers for the month of August have been released on the evening of 30th September.




As per the news so far the dearness allowance has crossed 47 percent, the dearness allowance is likely to cross 48 percent in the near future. Let us tell you that there was a jump of 3.3 points in the AICPI-IW number of 2023.

According to the latest news, the central government may soon increase the dearness allowance of employees and workers. It is believed that these changes may be implemented from October 1. Dearness Allowance of all categories of employees will be increased, group wise DA increase is as follows-




For Group A employees

As per the new hike, the unskilled category employees will be paid a total of Rs 771 at the rate of Rs 538 + Rs 228. If we talk about semi-skilled workers, based on the new increment, they will be paid a total of Rs 832 at the rate of Rs 579 + Rs 253.

While fully skilled workers get Rs. 637 + 278 at the rate of about Rs. 915 will be paid dearness allowance, and those who are highly skilled workers will get Rs. 992 with a total dearness allowance of about Rs. 693 + 299 will be paid at the rate. will go




For Group B employees

Based on the new increment, the recruitment allowance of B category employees will be increased as follows.




Group B unskilled workers will be given a total of Rs 628 as dearness allowance at the rate of Rs 434 + Rs 191.

While group B semi-skilled workers will be paid Rs 494 + Rs 215 plus Rs 709.

Category B Skilled Workers Rs. 589 + Rs. 253 at the rate of Rs. 832 will be paid.

Those highly skilled employees will be given a total of Rs 915 as dearness allowance at the rate of Rs 637 + Rs 278.

For Group C employees

As per the new increase, C category skilled employees will get a total of Rs. 504 will be paid, out of which Rs. 350 + Rs. 154 included. A total of Rs. 579 will be paid, of which Rs. 410 + Rs. 189 included. A total of Rs. 709 will be paid, out of which Rs. 494 + Rs. 215 included. and highly skilled workers on a daily basis totaling Rs. 832 will be paid, of which Rs. 579 + Rs. 253 included. This payment is calculated on a daily basis.
